It might sound like a silly question, but I've been looking at the elinchrom catalog and I am really puzzled about this.
I tried a search on the web the other day and never found any info really relevant to this.

They are just basically reflector, bulbs and cord that need to be hooked to something like the Ranger or Quadra system.

People seems to be using the Quadra or Ranger. I guess these flash heads are for really high end work where you need a lot of power.
