Here are a few of the group who sailed the seven seas (well, one of them anyway) to Catalina yesterday. I recently changed my entire workflow and now I seem to have some kind of color profile issue. These colors look a little too muted to me in these pictures. That's something I'm going to have to figure out before I work on any more...
Steve Parr (with his rented 100-400 lens that has the wrong hood on it
):
Steve's wife (not the most flattering shot -- I wish it wasn't looking up her nose -- but it's apparently the only one I got of her). We were taking pictures of each other taking pictures of each other (try to make sense out of that!), but she lowered her camera too quickly. Love that smile, though...
):Canon EOS 20D, Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM @ 70mm, 1/160s, f/4.5, ISO 100
Four plus one. Left to right: Johnny Thunder's wife, some random guy who walked into the picture, LaDonna (Noni's friend), Noni and Johnny Thunder (who looks eerily similar to my brother):
Canon EOS 20D, Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM @ 320mm, 1/100s, f/5.6, ISO 100
Radtech1, enjoying his banana split:
Canon EOS 20D, Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM @ 32mm, 1/20s, f/8, ISO 100
I didn't take any pictures of myself, of course, so someone else is going to have to finish this. Also, I can't remember Johnny and Steve's wives names. I'm so terrible with names, it's embarrassing. Please fill in those blanks for me...

I almost forgot to mention... Can you believe I was the only one there who had a POTN camera strap?!?

Surprisingly, I managed to get a few decent shots from the glass bottomed boat, one in particular I think I'll be very happy with.
