Here's a photo that my wife took with her P&S. She wanted me to pass along that she enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time.

That's the best shot of simultaneous chimping I've ever seen.
Nice catch, Lisa!
(or was it a setup?)

Just for the record, I'm in this shot, too. I'm standing right next to Radtech1 on the left (his and the picture's). You can see the lens hood on my 24-70, just below my POTN strap that is not visible in the picture.

Where's the other shot, Steve? She took two of these. I thought I was visible in the second one.

(Yes, it was a setup, Curtis.)

Wow, looks like you all had fun. I talked with Steve about going, but my wife is 8 months pregnant and I have to stay close to the den.

Hey Steve, how long before you buy the 100-400?(or is it already on order?;) )

No, it's not on order. Yet.

I'm going to rent a few other lenses, see which ones work for me and which don't. The 100-400mm certainly does work, so it'll surely make the "short list".

Is the 100-400mm also available in f/2.8?

Steve

Steve, I think you are going to need a POTN neck strap to hold up that lens properly. :-)

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Some really great shots, guys. I haven't processed mine just yet, and I just showed my friend her photo here; she looks scared of something, you know? And yes, I do hold the lens funny; alot like how I hold a gun...but in both situations, my aim is good.

LOL!

Someone asked me when the next one is; I'll think about it, and come up with an answer at some point soon. I'm just a tad busy (fine, over my head swamped) at the moment, but I'll think on it and see what I can come up with.

Best-
Noni
