I am using LR and PS CS5... I mainly did some color correcting in LR and then added a gritty look using the highpass filter within PS. Glad you guys are digging this one... Was thinking that I went a little too over the top...

I am not one for heavy processing but what you have done works well here; especially with the old barn.

I'm also not generally fond of extreme processing, but in this case you have created a strong image.

cheers,
Helen

Thanks a ton for all of the great complements. I love to hear what people have to say about my work... The only thing that has been really bugging me has been the jet stream in the upper left hand corner. I think I will take that out. But I'm glad to hear that you guys are digging it. Thanks a lot for all of the C&C, it is really appreciated.

I really dislike photos like this, but I absolutely LOVE what you've done to this one. Contradictory? Yes, I suppose it is, but an exceptional photo is an exceptional photo. And this is an exceptional photo! Great job on the post processing.

I really like this. Looks like an HDR to me (not a negative). What was causing the barn face to light up?
