Night Time Wildlife...

Whilst out on a wander I was lucky enough to find a heron who barely moved the entire time I was shooting... this was a 25 second exposure, f/10, ISO 200.

I'm more or less a complete beginner having got a DSLR for Christmas and have only had minor experience with an SLR about 10 years ago so any comments or criticisms are entirely welcome!

That's incredible for a 25s exposure of a wild animal. It makes me wonder if herons sleep standing up? Wait, now I'm wondering if all birds sleep standing up..
