The subjects' skin and hair are the same tone as the background. The clothes of the left woman and the dark patch in the upper right are contrasting.
The bg around their heads is slightly darker and there is some natural "hair light" that really sets them off. That part is super.

Cute girls, it kind of all one tones together. How does it look in color.

Easy resizing for web method:
Resize photo to 2000on the longest side. Go to filters, click on sharpen once.
Go back and resize to 800. View actual pixels, should be perfectly sharp if it was sharp to begin with. Once in a while you may have to hit sharpen twice but not usually.
