Pretty hard to do that accidentally. But I usually have a UV haze just in case and to bring out those blue skies! I am 17 years old! One of the young'ins!

To compensate, I keep the hood on all the time. I am very carefull with my gear. Almost to a fault but, $TUFF happens. So, I keep the lens hood on unless it's gonna create a shadow. David
