Joe, I don't know if you're into this kind of thing, but Saturday morning as the moon sets in the West between 5 & 6am, it's going to be eclipsed by the earth. I'm going to head out to Bodega Head and hope there is no fog. An eclipse like that right at the ocean horizon could be interesting.

I was referring to the movies Jason. I believe you have a presence that would work well in film. You'd make a great outlaw modern or vintage or any other character that has street mojo and presence. Add a Triumph, a pack of smokes, a chip on your shoulder (scripted of course), a dream or vision, and voila; modern day entertainment.

I am running my trial NIK through CS3, but I'll be installing LR3 soon. EFEX comes Monday. I am trying to figure out which way to go. I'm leaning towards CS3 because I can cut the opacity on the EFEX layer and get an excellent looking desaturated image, and I can also finish up with my sharpening. Any adavantages running EFEX through LR?

I'm not a techie at all.. . so I run mine through Photoshop. I only use raw editing for adjusting exposure or color temps... after that everything happens in PS for me... Old school girl, I suppose...

Another conceptual art piece. I've been messing with this stuff. The color in chrome is over saturated. I recommend color managed Firefox for accurate color.

Very cool looking... It looks like you are having fun "creating"... Love to see what happens when people get inspired.

And I have to say Victor, I'm so impressed with what you are doing... How lucky is it that all of the props you use are found at the location? I can't figure out how they could still be hanging around....

I always wonder how you find such cool looking places to shoot in... nothing like that aound here at all.

My morning bliss usually starts with a little bit of this... (since I have a tree, figured I might as well play with it). And I love collecting cute mugs for different holidays... Picke up this cute one at the grocery store the other night...

If you haven't tried Kava tea.... you might want to give it a try, with a little bit of cream.. (caffeine free...)

I run Silver Efex Pro 2 through LR3.x

I don't have photoshop, so I am limited in where I can use it I do use gimp now and then.

You clipped the top of his head.

It is nice, but the hands in front of the face are a little distracting. Smoooooooooooth creamy bokeh

Jon I would do a quick mask and brighten up his face a bit and maybe crop into his head even more. I like the shot a lot and if the face was brighter then the hands would not be as big of a distracting. In fact the might become a very cool supporting element. Heres one I was working on.

Funny thing....I wasn't looking through the view finder...lol....I just knew I loved his expression....so I fired...

Yet you nailed the focus...

When I try a photo like that 99.999999999999999% of the time I arse it up!

Lr3 is going to take some time getting use to, need to find a groove, but it is interesting.
