The skiing was great today. *I went out with my younger son (white Helmet) and his friends and was able to get a few. *It was snowing all day and the light was ultra flat.. *Oh well.

it was crazy powder. When I was shooting these, I took my skis off and hiked down a little bit and was thigh deep in snow. More to come tomorrow I hope.

Love flat light shooting! Add a 5-10% soft light layer or add a black and white layer blended to overlay then adjust opacity and you'll see the contrast an pop come right back.

Love the snow trail on 1... these are really cool.

3rd one looks alright. 1st and 2nd seem a little OOF. Maybe it's just me though!~ They could all use some PP for sure though to make em pop.

For some reason photobucket degrades the images. They are all quite sharp in DPP. With it snowing like mad and the wind blowing a good 25+MPH, they got kind of washed out. I know they are not the best looking photos but the action is cool. I'll try to see if CS5 can improve on them.
