Reifel Bird Sanctuary - Vancouver

I managed to make it out to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary near Vancouver while I was visiting my Son and Grandchildren. This is the first opportunity to really give the Sigma a good workout. I was very pleased with the way things worked out and hope that you enjoy these also.

Reifel is probably the nicest place to photograph birds in the area. The light is often good at Reifel in the winter with the sun lower. Are all of the ponds frozen now or are the areas with larger currents still clear for the ducks?

Thanks for the comments. The ponds at the start of the walk by the gate are still open as are some along the walk but it has been cold (by Vancouver standards) here for the last 4 or 5 days so most of the outer ponds have closed over. Still my most favourite spot for birds in the area.
