Hi folks,
I hope this is the right place to put this?
I'm after recommendations for a compact camera with either a swivel screen or swivel "head".
It's for my brother's 50th birthday on Saturday. He uses a Nikon S10 (2006 model). If anyone's familiar with it, it has a swivel body. He takes it everywhere with him as it's compact and very versatile.
I'm hoping to find an upgrade of some sort to this. Doesn't have to be Nikon but needs either a swivel screen or swivel head/body (as per the S10).
I really would appreciate your help on this as i'm running out of time and struggling to find anything through various searches.
Thanks in advance
Ian

The G11 and G12 models both have swivel screens and are the Cadillac of PnS cameras. Beware, it's a lot of camera. The G11 is pretty cheap on a refurb ($250 through the Canon Loyalty Program, look it up if you're unfamiliar). Good luck with your search.

Canon G12 & SX30, Fuji HS10, Panasonic FZ100.
All great cameras -
the G12 being a large compact of higher quality than the others,
and the last three being larger, super zoom cameras.
