The first is a superb capture! What time of day was it? Most of the time I get to see the big Tigers sleeping it off in some distant corner!!

How far away was this shot taken? Pease do share the lens settings!

Taken with the Sigma 70-300mm, at about 150mm (I was probably about 50 feet away). The tiger den is interesting in that there are no fences, wires, glass, etc to get in the way of the shot.
1/160 sec
f 4.5
ISO 800 (I wanted to keep the shutter speed up)
Most of the den is shaded, but for this picture, she sat in the one sunny spot which really gave the shot its vibrance.
I did run it through soft image to remove noise, and through the USM to sharpen it. Also did the Velvia Vision to give the color a little more punch.
I shot over 100 pictures (RAW) and I felt that these two were the best.
There's actually two tiger cubs. I have a few pictures that captured all three, but I wasn't very happy with them.

I am glad that you all enjoyed this picture. I am thinking about framing it.
