Like the concept. Might try to improve the noise....

I like the picture! The noise is a bit distracting...but it happens. The light on her face is excellent.

I see on your Flickr page that this was purple on there...now it's blue. Are you just playing with the color, or is your white balance off?

With a 30mm lens, on a 1.3x crop (1D) I believe, right? You can slow your shutter to 1/20 even if you shake as bad as I do, slower if you had some sort of leverage to keep you stable (or can stand as still stone). Then you can kick down the ISO to 1600, at least, and would have a significant decrease in noise that way. Otherwise it's great composition and color.

Some photographer can shoot handheld down into the low teens or even 1/10 with a standard length lens, I aspire to break 1/20 with any consistency. lol.

Very nice. I like what you have done with the three distinct areas of color.

The bridge changes colors. The noise is noise... Get over it.

Is the noise really that bad? I don't really mind it... I used to be an anti-noise freak, but I think it actually looks kind of nice... like film...

I agree that noise can give it character and add to a shot, but I recommend combining the authentic noise with some mild film noise filters or other noise filters, the noise is very distinctly digital, specifically on her hair and the center part of the ceiling. I don't know to how pin point why it looks like digital grain, something to do with the way it gets slight purple tinges.

I do agree it gives it character, but grain is something that if you can avoid or decrease, it is better to do so, and then in post you can emphasize it should it give a specific feel you are looking for.

I like the noise with this theme. However, I might change the perspective a bit .shifting over closer to her feet.
