nooooooo, I just bought a sandisk ultra (Link) (external link) about a week ago. It's going to be too slow for the 7D?

Should be fine. I have been using the same with my 7D without issue.

No need to worry. There are lots of folks using the 30mb/s cards with the Canon 7D and they work just fine. The only way you will need a UMDA-enabled card (60mb/s) is if you are planning on shooting at 8 fps on a consistent basis and the additional speed is critical to your shooting. Otherwise, you'll never be able to tell the difference.

I also have to say my 16gb Transcend 400x on my 7D has worked perfectly for me both in Photo and Video mode, although my videos have been less than 30 seconds. Bought from Amazon, newegg works too.

Transcend 400x have been working great for me. Fast, reliable and inexpensive. I was a long time Sandisk user until recently. B&H and Newegg generally have good prices on them.

I bought a pair of these at Christmas from Amazon. At the time they were $76.67 each, but the price has gone up to $82.69 each. These have worked great in my 7D.

ETA: these are 32GB cards

I just bought two 16 GB Sandisk Extreme cards from Beach Camera. After the rebate, they come out to $77 a piece. I've been using Extreme IIIs in my 7D...so I'm looking forward to moving up to a card that's twice as fast.
