There are lots of folks using the 30mb/s cards with the Canon 7D and they work just fine. The only way you will need a UMDA-enabled card (60mb/s) is if you are planning on shooting at 8 fps on a consistent basis and the additional speed is critical to your shooting. Otherwise, you'll never be able to tell the difference.

Bought from Amazon, newegg works too. Canon 7D + Canon Grip | Sigma 600mm f/8, Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, Takumar 28mm f/2.8 Bayonet

I was a long time Sandisk user until recently. B&H and Newegg generally have good prices on them. I bought a pair of these at Christmas from Amazon. At the time they were $76.67 each, but the price has gone up to $82.69 each. These have worked great in my 7D. After the rebate, they come out to $77 a piece. I've been using Extreme IIIs in my 7D...so I'm looking forward to moving up to a card that's twice as fast.
