Tamron SP 90 AF Macro - Model 72E

Will this model work with the 20D? I know there is a model 172E and now 272E both of which are compatible. I have searched online and it would seem it would work but I would like to be sure. I can't actually try the lens as it is many miles away, it belongs to a friend of my in-laws (it belonged to her late husband). I could get it real cheap but would not bother if it won't work.

I could phone Tamron during the seek but not even sure if they will be able to help.

My in-laws are leaving their friends place tomorrow or Tuesday and could bring it with them. I could always get it sent later in needed too.

Not sure why this would not work as long as the mount is compatable. There is also e-bay if it does not work.

I might just do that. I could get this lens for under $100 CDN and could likely sell it for more on ebay if needed. It is not the Sigma 150 I had my sights set on but for this price who can argue.
