Just something I shot last weekend. I'm really enjoying my 100-400L, and the IS really helps.

He doesn't look to pleased with me either!

Nice ... very sharp.

He keeps looking at me no matter where I stand in front of the monitor ;)

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm finally learning patience and I think luck played a hand in this photo too.

I thought I saw him blink once!

This is a very nice shot. I just love it. Not too crazy about the frame either. And iso 800, wow, that's a nice shot.

Great shot, JB! That 100-400 is definitely next on my list.

He looks like he's got his lips clenched while he's eyeing you taking that photo. Wonder what was going through his mind...

Okay, the frame goes..
I was playing with Mike's Framer script and then got the bright idea to post the image.

It probably should have been black.

I'd read about the 100-400 being soft at 400, but my copy certainly doesn't show it.

I think I'm getting better at sharpening too. I shot this image RAW and USM to sharpen it.

I forget this fellas name, but I understand he's the "old man" of the gorillas there. He's all of 29! They have separated him from the other three they have. Seems they were challenging his position as leader and were ganging up on him. Looks to me like he can take care of himself.
