I attempted to post a couple of pictures I took in the Wildlife Forum, but I could not as they were too large. The photos are around 3.45 MBs each. How do I resize them so they fit and still look good? I see lots of quality shots on here, so there must be some way to do it. Is there a particular tool I can use?

Thanks
Steve

You'll need to re-size the file first. I use 720px on the largest end, then I use 'Save As' and generally go for 7 to 8. I try to make them less than 200kb.

Thanks. Not sure I know what you mean. However after I read your thread I tried right clicking on the photo and saw a resize option I never noticed before. I chose the medium format and the photos were uploaded. Here the link. Not sure if this is what you meant or is the best way to do this. What is this method like for maintaining quality?

Not sure what 'Medium Format' means as far as quality. I was referring to using Photoshop (CS2). Along with re-sizing I also add sharpness too.

I don't have any photoshop software yet, but hope to get into it down the road.
