id darken the background a tad. because its so bright it draws a lot of attention to my eye. try a -.25 exposure drop.

In this instance, I'd place her head in the golden ratio, and PS at the lights...

Overall they are quite pleasant shots and certainly a cut above a snapshot. However, as Titus stated, a dose of fill in flash would have worked wonders.

I like this. Her face is brighter, good smile, there is even the sense of a twinkle in the eye. Shadows on the face give some dimension to her and that's good.

While the overall background is pleasing, as mentioned before, be careful of posts, lights, etc, growing out of heads. This one isn't too bad because it's so out of focus with nice bokeh.
