It's been so rare to have days of blue sky around here that I just couldn't resist this one.

That's nice Sandy.
Boy, you sure have a clean sensor.;)
I took a pic like that the other day with my new 20D--and there were two big blobs in it!

Thanks, I've only cleaned my sensor once and that was months ago, I'll I used was a simple little hand blower, I do however turn the camera off when I change lenses. Just lucky I guess.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a blue sky in one of your pictures before, Sandy... :D Does this mean fall has arrived?

I notice some leaves falling here , on the ground they are completely dead
no colour in them whatsoever
like as though something got them before they fell:(
like acid rain ?
it's got colder , but usually the colours fall to the ground with the
leaves
they don't be quite as dead looking for some time
usually lots of colour on the ground as well as up in the trees

however this is only on certain 'street' or 'avenue' trees , certain types
not the big ones, like the sycamore in the back garden:)

it's very early for any to fall yet
:(
get the woolies out

Our Summer was so messed up this year very hot and humid than a real dry spell then some rain the more humidity than dry, It really stressed out a lot of the trees and plants So I have no idea what our fall foliage will be like, I have noticed that some of our maples have started to turn a little, very early

I know this year has really been something, it's been so hot and humid that the sky just always seemed to have and overcast look to it. Sure hope fall and winter are better. Maybe I'll have a chance to use the polerizing filter I bought.

Nice shot Sandy. We're going to remember this in about a month, after all the leaves fall.
