Great shots, especially the clouds and the sunset, they are unreal! The first bird is a Turkey Vulture and the second, a Snowy Egret. Nice shots!

Thanks for the correction, I have a habit of using names that others who (apparently) do not know what they are talking about say and that was one of the better sunsets we have had in a while, just happened to have the camera and a few extra shots on the card (I need a 1gb or bigger!)

I hear you about the birds. There are always people who use names incorrectly. I hope you don't think I was being a know-it-all, just wanted to point that out to you! Yeah, I would frame that sunset picture, that is just perfect. I love sunset pictures and would really like to get some more of my own.

"I hope you don't think I was being a know-it-al"

not at all! I would rather know that I am wrong and get corrected by someone than for them to just let it go. I strive for perfection and any help along the way is appreciated. And the sunset picture is one of five I think from a panorama I took off a dock, I just have yet to convert the rest from RAW and put them togeather. Along those lines, does anyone know where I can get a large (and wide) picture printed? I dont know the exact dimensions yet but I expect it will be quite large.

Incidentally, here: http://www.birds.cornell.edu …ide/Northern_Harrier.html (external link) is a link for the Northern Harrier (sometimes called marsh hawk). It is one of the most interesting and beautiful raptors and possibly my favorite of all raptors. The adult male is striking with it's silvery gray feathers and black wing tips. http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov …/Photo/Images/h3310p4.jpg (external link) Note the owl-like face!

Well done Jonathan, I know how you feel. I was always the same with names myself untill I started to learn for myself. Those last 2 shots are just beautiful, wow.

Good to see I'm not the only one who shoots interesting white clouds against a blue sky.. :) I have a folder packed with them.

Nice pics!
OK, where's the tutorial on embedding a link in an image? Seems like that would solve the problems for the 56K users.

wolverinesr1, thanks for the site but as it turnes out I wont need it quite yet, my sunset pictures were all handheld and I accidentely rotated the camera a bit as I took them so the edges dont match up.

PhotosGuy, I used this line of HTML to get the link:

So basicly its '[' then URL=yoururl then ']
'

but my web host, PhotoBucket, does the code for me, maybe they have a better way of saying it.

Thanks. I use PhotoBucket too, so you're just using their thumbnail & code? Good idea!
