Hi everyone -

I just bought Lee wide angle adapter rings for my 10-22 and 15-85. Of course, I love the set-up but the one annoyance with the w/a rings is that they dont accept lens caps. So, if Im out in the field and want to change lenses, Ive got to un-screw the adapter ring before I can safely stow the lens. During a sunrise shoot and the light is changing fast, I really dont want to be messing with this.

So, what other options are there? Is there a cap size that does fit the adapter ring?

Will a slip-on like this work? Notice that they come in finely graduated sizes:

I'd go with the hood hats suggestion.

I tried hood hats and discovered them to be a PITA. They would snag and yank off more often than a push-on, were considerably bulkier in storage (pocket or bag) than a push-on, and took two hands to put on in the larger sizes.

^I'd rather have that than a cap. Caps can vary in size. So that makes it close to none in finding one. :) Inconvenient? Not really imo. :)

Lee has introduced the SW150 filter holder for the Nikon 14-24. It comes with a neoprene cover (from Optech) if you wish to not remove the adapter assembly. This is something MNlander is looking for. :)
