Well the day started off with me going on the internet and getting informed by fellow member Cdnavspotter that in the morning a First Air 762 and a United Express (Colgan Air) were going to depart. So I got to the airport just in time to catch the 762, it was actually a Cargojet that was misplacing the FAB. I met up of Cdnavspotter and a few shots later he borrowed me his 70-200F/2.8L, I snapped a few with it and it's a superb lens! It was a very cold day though. Photos are not in order...
Here are some shots:

EDIT: Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

Put the plane in the bottom of the frame. Get away from the Anet center of the frame shots. Nobody cares what the brown grass in the foreground looks like.

All of them. All the aircraft are centered in the image. If it's on the ground it belongs in the bottom third of the frame. The brown grass adds nothing to the image, so why show any more grass than is needed. Less grass, more sky. :)

Well the pictures were taken with the aircraft centered. I don't usually take pictures of anything where the subject is in a low frame, also, I will probably upload these to Jetphotos or something so I prefer the middle, but if the sky is interesting i'll make it happen. I also need to level my shots 99.8% of the time so sometimes framing isn't good.

Good advice Tim - by reducing the amount of ho-hum foreground Jan, it will place more emphasis on the aircraft, and you will end up with a much more pleasing/interesting composition. Try it with the CC-150 shot - that top of the chain link fence, and brown grass by the runway threshold, do absolutely nothing and detract from the aircraft capture !! ;)

Comparing the two, I prefer the 2nd version too Jan !! It puts much more emphasis on the aircraft by eliminating some distracting clutter (imho). Thanks for posting ! ;)
Any particular reason why you are not too fond of it ?

Ok then. Well I am probably just not used to having my photos that way, if the sky were red or special then I would love it. I'll try this next time.
I have more photos on flickr if anyone wants to take a look.

I agree with you Jan. The reason I don't think I like the newer crop is because it doesn't have enough room for the plane to move into (in addition to the dull sky).

Nice shots! I really like some of the trailing ones on your Flickr :D.
