I am looking for a good AW Backpack I can carry most of my gear in and still use it as a carry on for trips. I am using a lowepro Nova 5 right now. So I am a newbie to backpacks. All suggestions and comments welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Just know that carry-on sizes vary in other countries. It's possible to leave the US with a legal carry on but then have it rejected for a flight within Europe for example.

who gives a rat crap how much gear you can list?

Very good point about Europe.
Any suggestions on the most comfortable and usable for this use?
