I know this has been discussed a little from searching the forum, but not at great length. They have this deal right now and they have them at my local camera shop. I know they arent Alienbees or elin's etc/ But trying to piece together a kit with all this form anywhere is tough.

[3] Strobelites
[2] 43" White Umbrellas
[2] 7.5' Light Stands
[1] Backlight Stand
[1] Floor Positioning Mat
[1] Floor Mat Guide Card
[1] Educational DVD
[1] Carry Case
[2] 24" x 32" Soft Boxes (FREE!)
[1] 17" x 50" Strip Bank (FREE!)
[3] Adapter Rings (FREE!)

I can get all this for $600. Are these light decent? I am not shooting pro anymore, never was big into studio stuff, mostly sports. But for occasional portrat's and messing around? They hold up decent under light use? Decent results?

Never heard of them, but you might get some meaningful feedback if you post a link.

The price seems quite low for what you're getting so I would guess they are an ebay/Chinese kit. Nothing wrong with that (I've got an ultra cheap setup from ebay myself that does more than I need) as long as you know what you're getting in to with them.

Never used the set but have been looking for one as well.
The set is available from both Adorama and B&H Photo for $500.
Couple of reviews from users on the B&H Site.

Good luck.
