Hi everyone,

I've had the 40d for a while and always shot raw + L. Today I downloaded some new images and saw they were only large jpegs. That's when I checked my camera settings and saw that the raw option isn't there anymore. This camera is worthless to me without the raw option.

I'm flummoxed by the whole thing.

Anyone know what this could be about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

umm, ok nevermind.

I guess that option isn't available during the automatic setting. I put it back on manual and it reappeared.

lol, close one.

Yup, it's there for any of the Creative modes (P, Av, Tv, M, etc) but not for Auto or Scene modes.
