These photos were taken in a parking garage without location scouting. They came out decent but fore some reason I had lots of problems getting my lights to look good in the parking garage. I didn't end up using them. Lots of shadows on the wall (tired w/ and w/o umbrella) and discoloring of the red paint. Lighting tips would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the results:

what were you using for lighting equipment? the lighting in parking garages is often tungsten so you might need to use gels to get the white balance right. Also try putting the lights high on the stand and pointing them at the ground just in front of the car to reduce shadows. I'm a rookie though so hopefully someone else will chime in with more/better info. I really like the last shot, nice job.

I like the last pic the most.

Just curious but was this taken in Tampa? Parking garage looks very familiar.

I have an ab800 that I use and normally just move it and use lighten layers in photoshop until I have money for more lights. I was just reading about putting lights high on a stand and pointing them at the ground. I will try to go back and try this technique. Thanks for the help.

They were taken in the suburbs of Atlanta at Cobb General Hospital employee parking.

last shot is nice! i also agree with using the 800 placed towards the ground right in front of the car. from the examples i've seen, it leads to pretty pleasing results
