Got my new lens today.
What do you guys think?
5DmkII, Samyang 14mm f/2.8, iso 3200, f/2.8 and 2s
Haven't gotten the lens profile to work yet, so there is some distortion here

Thank you. I took so many images in the 50 minutes that I stayed outside so it might end up in a time lapse :)

Stunning image,living on the north coast of mainland Scotland i'm lucky enough to get the odd good aurora display,especially around solar maximum but have never witnessed one as stunning as this.Thanks for sharing.

the composition is great but the water shows quite a few artifacts, not sure if it's jpeg compression or just noise. With a little more TLC that'll be an awesome lens for sure.

Yeah this is just a rush job. I increased the exposure to much and didn't apply any noise reduction on the water. I will look into and do some more pp

Very nice.

I have that camera lens combo, haven't taken the lens out for any astro pics yet. Too far north to see the bulge of the milky way in the winter and too far south to see auroras (usually).
