It can be the day after anything. The day after getting a new lens. They day after a celebration.

Standard Rules apply:
Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
*Photo Name in the message subject line.*
Camera model & lens used.
* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.

I almost spit my coffee all over the key board when I saw Robuks image. It is so funny.

And I almost picked Dr Petes image but the images is a little flat (needs some contrast) Loved Maureens city scape and Jasons image fits the category, Lisa your road shot almost got my vote and the shot by blsvlo I would have preferred without the words. Geno your image made me smile and it made me dream of warmer days because its so freak'n cold here. But the winner is and this was a tough one because I liked them all but

I really liked your entry Maureen. I was really torn on this one.

Cool John, congrats! Very nice showing from all! Yeah, monkies and booze do not mix well. Allen, thanks for the great theme.

Now, the words to explain my entry: A highly respected carrier was going to retire, and the old fart asked be to document the going away party. I did and took the day off and spent 2 hours clicking away with 2 bodies, it was a huge ceremony. Anyway, go to work the next day and as I was heading to the break room before my tour began, there was this trash can filled with baloons and streamers in the middle of the flat break-out section...and thats why I carry a camera with me most of the time.
