I would try something else, the picture feels to cramped. Out of the 2 I do like #2 the white balance is better. The flash to the top right is to much its causing a lens flare. Post if you do decide to do something else though.

Some other option, which I think I like best.

No flash. It was a lamp. It was actually a lot worse, and I fixed it a bit but then decided it wasn't a big deal. I thought about cropping it more, but I didn't want to lose the arm. It's supposed to look like I don't know someone is taking a picture of me. A voyeur wouldn't be overly concerned about lens flare, I imagine, so I left it.
I didn't notice it until you said so, but I think I like the cramped feeling. IMO it adds to the feeling that you're not supposed to be watching. :)

I almost want to see the whole mirror. The pic is a little invasive to be from a Voyeur perspective, the camera looks like it is in front of you. I guess it could be a telephoto lens, maybe through an outside window into a mirror would be cool.

It was behind me almost 2 feet, shot with my new Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens.

Thanks. It was a spur of the moment thing for a photo contest.

I like the 2nd one a little better. It has a softer feel to it. You look beautiful in either, though.

I don't like the hair. Don't misunderstand, your hair is beautiful. However, when I viewed the picture, the very first instantaneous impression I got was that the hair was a wig. don't know why. Perhaps a little too much forehead combined with the dark hair / shadow at the front roots. Perhaps the height of the plum on your right side. Don't know. Not meant to be offensive. Just my honest first impression.

Don't worry. I don't normally wear my hair like that. :)
The contest was to remake a photo. The picture I was drawing inspiration from was a Vogue spread about celebrities and overdone plastic surgery. It's supposed to be over exaggerated to the point of looking fake.

Well thank goodness. In forums sometimes you never know how people will react no matter how you try to temper things. Sounds like you're pretty level-headed. That being said (your vision), I will agree that the image looks very claustrophobic. Technically I like the WB in the second. Also, the brass plate/dish is a little distracting, even tho it is blurred back. Good luck.

Yeah, I went back and forth with how I should stage the dresser top. I do regret the little scarf box I set out to the left of the photo.

It was really blown out so some parts are still overexposed.
