Kim called me up yesterday and said that she wanted to do a little portrait shoot as a gift to her mom. She was running a bit late today and it worked out perfectly as the sunset we were left with was absolutely fantastic. Got a few weird looks, as we were shooting with a full strobist setup on a little ridge overlooking soccer fields as parents were dropping their kids off, but it was a good time. These were all shot on a 1D classic with my 70-200 2.8L and my Sigma 30mm 1.4.

I like the warmth of #3 but where's the sun? :) the other two seems too cold to be a sunset shot. and #2 seems blown out on her right side.

Just my 2 cents!

nice shots. the over exposure on her face took my attention away for a bit in the second photo. but I do like the rim lighting on the first shot.
