Thank you, darosk!

We were lucky as it was some rain this Monday in Taroko. If a 'beautiful' sunny day, we would miss all patterns on the rock for sure.

Thanks all :-)

As we only had two weeks in Taiwan, so we missed most the country; In two years time, we will spend most our time outside the big smoke and get the most out of the trip for sure.

Great photos! I am in Taiwan right now (3 weeks vacation). We went through Taroko a few days ago. Barely made it through the mountains even with snow chains. Crazy stuff after leaving a warm beach in Hualien in the morning and then seeing several inches of snow and freezing temps on Mt. HeHuan.

We got all summer clothing ONLY as we went to Taiwan; but the wealth just got so cold during our 2nd week as we were in Tainan already - so we had to buy lots winter clothes 'just-in-case'. Lucky we didn't need them for Taroko.

Love to see some photos with Taroko in snow, please :-)

I'm packing up getting ready to head home soon. I hope I can get home to Atlanta - it's a mess there with the snow. I'll get to all my photos once we are safely back home.
