I ordered one yesterday from BuyDig store on Ebay. Supposedly they are a authorized Canon dealer with USA warranty. They have a .com store too but they were out of stock there.

Buydig is a good place, I've ordered from them in the past.

Congrats on finding the camera though!

Buydig says they have more than 10 available. But I still can't get past the 10 NEGATIVE feedbacks in the past month. I'll wait it out rather than take a chance.

I bought mine from BugDig's eBay as well...

I ordered last week on Thursday. I didn't receive a tracking number or anything from them so I have no idea when it's going to arrive. If it doesn't come by tomorrow I'm gonna call D:

No use to you guys but Amazon.co.uk has them. Mine arrived a few days ago and apart from charging the battery and the spare, it stayed in its box until the Richard Franiec grip (external link) arrived this morning. (So no need to alcohol clean the camera as the grip went on it brand new.)

I thought they would get discounted here in the post Christmas sales and before our sales tax went up to 20%. It did get discounted, but not down to the level Amazon.co.uk was selling it anyway. :(

<sigh> Another manual to read.

So BuyDig oversold and they didn't have any even though they charged my card...they didn't even notify me. I left negative feedback.

I called around my area and I found out that a Best Buy has some in stock... I'm going to pick it up tomorrow morning... I usually don't buy from Best Buy but I have a $50 gift card so why not :P

I had the same experience as ChickenGod with my order from Buydig. I also left negative feedback. They did do a quick refund. I ordered something a few years back from them with no problem. But I'm done with them.

Don't count on getting it :/ You were right!

I had the s50, s70, and sd1100 and loved them all. But this little camera is just amazing. I just found you can actually take HDR photos. I believe it's the first canon point and shoot to have it. Just amazing! Bought it at Adorama for $369.00 with a free lowepro case, mini tri-pod, and extra battery back on Dec 20th.

My local Best Buy has them in stock. I'm going to pick one up right now. I don't like Best Buy at all, but we're leaving for Vegas next week and I don't want to take a chance on not having the S95, which is backordered nationally.

I do not like Best Buy at all either, but I had a $20 gift card, and I was tired of waiting for all these websites to have it in stock. :P

Best Buy has the best price. I got one there today. It is $399 and you can download 12% off certificate of the internet for Rewards members. That brought it to $350+tax. Now technically you have to be a rewards member to use it in store (I am actually a Silver Rewards Member because I spend too much money on electronics, which is sickening) but when Nikon D7000 came out and it was scarce last year, many nonmembers printed out these certificates and bestbuy employees still took those for discount. It depends on who you get. If you are a reward member, you should never buy anything at Bestbuy at retail price, because literally every week, there is 12% off for Rewards Members on 90% of things (of course things like Apple are typically excluded, but cameras are always included). You just have to look on the internet and print out out. In fact, what you really need is a code from such certificate, which you can even enter when ordering on line

I just got a ship date from Amazon for my S95, so it looks like they might have more in stock again!

The wait will be worth it,:) the S95 is a great compact point and shoot. I will point out though if you shoot in raw the S90 raw files could be opened in CS4, the S95 however I had to update to CS5. Oh well I figured it was a good excuse to upgrade..

Canon Gear, 1 Nikon F2, and never enough lens..:)
