Using 430EX II with old TLR

I've got an old Yashica 24 TLR medium format camera which has a pc sync socket for connecting a flash to. Could I use my EX 430 II if the flash unit has a hot shoe/PC sync adaptor fitted? The Yashica doesn't have any electronics so I'm not worried about frying the camera but I wouldn't want to damage the EX 430 II. I also know that I won't have any TTL metering and that I would have to manually control the flash power. Any thoughts?

The Voltage on the sync circuit is generated in the flash, so the camera cannot harm the flash.

The sync Voltage on the 430EX II is also so low (about 4 or 5 Volts or so) it would not harm any camera.
