First Shoot

So, I recently chanced upon a 1Ds II, grabbed some inexpensive yet workable M42 lenses, and went with it. Here's two of the better ones I'm unsure of the composition/postproces​sing on.

They're both from a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 28/3.5. 1/15 and 1/30 of a second respectively at ISO 100.

I thought #1 was interesting. The woman had an intense expression. Her hood and jacket frame her face to emphasize the center of interest. The red eye glasses emphasizes her eyes and strengthens the center of interest. To improve the image, consider increasing the contrast and possibly the saturation. The image looks flat (at least on my monitor).

#2 was too obscure for me to have any meaningful comment.
