few cheap cameras in A series, really nothing, NOTHING interesting.

Why has the A series become the bottom of the pit? I remember they use to have manual functions and stuff!

was there anything interesting from the opposition that we haven't seen yet? I mean nikon/sony/pentax/etc

Canon only had the A series, the bottom of the line cameras

others had more interesting cameras

I guess they're waiting for more photo- and video-centered events.

CP+ is in early february
NAB is in early april

Let's wait and see...

Back when Canon opted out of PMA, they pretty much declared that they were doing so to avoid being bound by a specific schedule for product releases.

Wait. Was anyone there? Canons presentation was phenomenal! Best i have seen in over 12 years from them. It was everything but disappointing.
