getg3 & G3guro,

That lens hood is a little pricey. I just purchased one from B&H Photo yesterday and only paid $5.95, it is a generic brand and for now it is seems fine.

I am not sure the B&W is worth the added cost, looks similar to me.

Here is the link for the one I picked up:

Getg3,

Thanks! Looks pretty good. I looked at your link. www.2filters.com/prices/products/rubhoods.html (external link). Did you get the normal mm lens rubber hood 67mm for your Kenko KNT-20 for $5.22? The other one is for the wide angle.
Is it front threaded?

Niloligist,

That's also a pretty good price. Does it have front thread also?

G3guro.

Niloligist,

Have you tried to put this on your tele and wide lenses, any vignetting?

There are no front threads on the Canon wide's so you can't attach a standard lens hood. But it would be nice if they could come up with a friction fitting one that would work with all Canon converters.

G3guro,

I got the wide angle one for $7.11. No front thread (you suppost to put it on top of everything, so the lenshood should be the very last piece to be connected to the camera).

getg3,

Thanks I got it and everything is fine. Only thing, I think the one I got is a little flimsy. It seems a little to soft even though it is collapisable. I found out later then B&H Photo has quite a few of them different brands. I am going to try another brand for my other lensmate adapter that I don't attach any lens to.

Sorry it took so long, but better late than never.

Again, thank you.
