Hello All,

I've never posted here in the Pets section, so here we go....

Bogy the dog. He's a bash-ful fellow.

Haha, the caption fits the expression!

Is Bogy yours? Also, what's the origin of the name?

Thanks for asking, but no Bogy is not my dog, but he is my fathers. I went over to his place for Christmas and took some pictures.

There are a couple of other parts that come to mind with this picture.

1. Because I was shooting at f1/4, his head had to be sideways. Shallow DOF. The dog has a long nose, and if it was pointed at me, the nose would be in focus and the rest of his head would not be.
2. Optimally f1.4 is not in the 'butter zone' for this lense, but I was playing with bokeh, and wanted the maximum effect.
3. PP has been done. I bumped up the contrast and toned down the brightness of the peripheral. Brightness was toned down over-all too. Sharpness and Noise cancellation was added as well.
