Shes hot... what is she standing on? It looks like a bridge... is it? Is this 85 f/1.2?
I have that one and tend to over smear the background with the beautiful boooooooookeh. Later on I look at my photos and wish I had gone with a smaller aperture so I could actully make out the what was behind my subject.

Very nice photo, nonetheless.

I think it is a very nice portrait. The shallow depth of field isolates your wife as the subject of interest. Some may be critical of the blown highlights in her hair on the right, but I think it works. It gives the appearance of strong rim lighting. Nicely done.

I like it overall my one small question is there a little more room to give the top of her head in the crop? Of course this my a total person feel of mine but looks a little cut off. Overall I love the bokeh a tad blown out but so watch it really makes her stand out.

Thanks guys. This was shot with a Canon 50mm 1.4, set at f2.0
I didn't crop this at all... I hear ya about the top of the head as I thought about it too, but alas, I don't feel it kills the shot.

This was shot at a train station, so thats a train in the image. As far as the blown train to her right (our left), I did that on purpose, high contrast for a pop'ing image. I'm seeiming to have a certain style of PP, a little more energy and pop, more contrast and impact. I guess it's a love it or hate it thing.

Anyway, thanks for the thoughts. Keep em' comming.

Beautiful image - beautiful lady.
The limited range of tones make it for me.
Love the way she stands out in the image.
Powerful positioning too.
Paul.

Love the 'throwback to the 60s' look of the shot. Nicely done!

The crop is fine. Landscape shots for portraits gets frowned upon too much imho. Similar color range creates some calm. Bravo

Canon "Snappy".... Thanks Mom and Dad!
