7dayshop -ink cartridges

A sorry in advance if this is not posted in the correct section.

I just thought I would let other members know of the service level of 7dayshop.com

You place orders on line for Canon ink cartridges, their system tells you they are in stock, they take payemnt for them according to your account info screen, them you get an email saying out of stock!!!

On the 30/12/10 I ordered an complete set of cartridges for my Pro9500 MKII, I sent an email yesterday via their on line form asking when they would be dispatched, the reply I got was "we have been busy, we will get around to it", no definate info given.

I tried to phone on the number given - discontinued
I got numbers from Google - discontinued
I got number from 118118 - discontinued.

Make of this what you will

I have never heard of them and with a response like that I doubt I ever will. That response is nuts. I would try to cancel it if you can or go through your credit card company.

I'd recommend looking at reseller ratings or review centre before trying any new retailer.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies, I will be contacting Visa, I think as members we should all pool our experiences to help each other.

Perhaps the "Mods" could open another section on the forum with regards to dealers on line and high street shops.

7day will not take your money from your C/Card until the items are in stock, if you have not used them before you would not know this, and for anyone else it takes about 4/5 days from order to dropping through your door.

Sorry to here you are having problems this is IMO very rare for them to have slipped up, it would be worth checking with your c/card company, good luck..

Similar to my first experience with amazon.com. Then they told me I couldn't cancel the order. I had to threaten a charge-back from my CC company to get them to cancel it. Since then I order from other sellers on the amazon site, but never from amazon themselves. (Yeah, I know, lots of people love amazon; it only takes one experience like this to change your mind.)

Sorry can't help with a phone number but in the future I'd recommend justinkandpaper. I used to use 7dayshop for stuff but found the cartridges for the pixma pro 9000 (and others) cheaper at justinkandpaper

Quick update......
Just soke to Canon sales department, very helpfull, the phone number they have for this dealer does not work!!!!, the parts the dealers says are not avaiable are sitting in stock in Canon`s UK warehouse, and also guess what, the dealer does not have the part on order!!!!

Now waiting for the Canon field based area manager to call me.
