7dayshop -ink cartridges

Hi Mike,

Strange this!!!

I email them just now, we will wait and see, the manager (?) who call me from them was (so he said) Andre`, but he had no surname.

If I don`t get satisfaction I will go to trading standards.

Time is long overdue of letting retailers rip us off, we should all start to name and shame!!!!!!!!!!!

We should all get Al Murray's finger of shame and start pointing!!!

Update 3...............

Some of the items arrived today, I have emailed a copy of the image below to Canon (sorry it was taken on a phone), this is how the cartridges arrived, just in a jiffy bag, not in a cardboard Canon outer box!!!!, are they real or fake - waiting to hear from Canon, the story continues.

This cartridge doesn't even have the shrink wrap. That hard plastic orange tear-off tab doesn't even show in an OEM cartridge as it comes out of the box, it's covered up by gray shrink wrap! They did more than just take it out of the box to save on shipping.

B&H Photo in the US. Always the best prices I've found anywhere and the best service. When you order from them, you get an email right after you place the order. It says, in essence, "If you want to change your order, don't email us, call us, because we've probably already started processing your order."

I personally have never had a problem with 7dayshop, we ordered exactly the same ink from them and recieved it on time yesterday. The ink doesnt come in a box to keep packaging down, they also sent us a bag to recycle our old cartridges. Im still going to use them but i'll keep this account in mind, i can't ignore such bad service even if it is rare.

Did it have the gray shrink wrap that covers the cartridge itself? It's very bizarre that they removed that, unless it's a refilled cartridge.

It was a little clear plastic bag with postage already paid so you can recycle the cartridges you're replacing. I think i only got one bag with all 3 seperate packages they sent me.

I got none!!

used 7dayshop dozens of times, no issues - they are based in Guernsey so goods take a while to deliver

Always on time, sometimes in a Canon box 80% of the time, always OEM Inks.

I can understand that, no problem, but it is the lack of communication plus silly answers to emails.

No answer to last weeks message, now putting matter in the hands of Gurnsey Trading standards Office.
