Ok so this is my first time shooting in the snow with my XSi... I am hoping that I PP this so the exposure is right. And above all I really have my new monitor calibrated correctly. (No more 10 y/o monitor for me!!) C&C is greatly appreciated!!!

Exif
0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture f/3.5
Focal Length 67 mm
ISO Speed 200

(added .25 exposure in ACR)

Thank you for looking!

My only suggestion is to maybe crop out a little more of the top but its a super sharp picture... and very cute :)

I like it a lot. The color of the hat contracts perfectly, in my opinion, with the rest of the image.

Wow, when I saw the title I was expecting something way different...snow baby has a totally different meaning over here.

I would dodge the upper portions of the face and eyes to remove the shadows caused by the hat.

Very nice. Probably better ways than dodging, but the face does need
some selective brightening. She is a great little subject!

I added a blank layer over the image and painted white over the face and chose the soft light blending mode and brought the opacity down and I added a bit of a rose color to the cheeks and added vibrance to the whole image. Hope you like :)

Lovely image btw. :)

Thanks you all! I will have to go back in tonight and try the dodging! Snap Shot... I am officially curious as to what it means ;) Thanks for the wonderful comments and the edits, I guess that means the WB is right on and it gives me a starting point with the lightening. Peano & Albertonman nice edits as always. Thank you both.

I did, its a 380Ex, oldie but a goodie. I had my 9 month old strapped to me in a baby carrier so I was traveling light. It most definitely could of used some fill huh?
