I feel the WB might be off on this, so i've slightly desaturated it in an attempt to compensate. Apart from this, any other comments on composition etc?

Shot on 450D with 50mm 1.8, 1/80 f1.8 ISO 1600

Edits welcome...

I like it, very tender moment. I'm impressed with the ISO 1600 performance too.

I'd bump the light just a bit after getting the white balance figured out.

thanks, the 1600 ISO can come through for you sometimes.:D

I've already boosted the exposure roughly +1 stop, the original image was extremly dark

Not bad although i would have loved to see the dad look at the camera or maybe a better emotion.

I didn't get any of the dad looking at the camera, although i liked the experssions on this picture, just didn't think it was as strong as the first

I prefer first photo, the caring look of father is complimented by childs looks.

I feel that light on child head could be avoided.
