I have just starting to get in to digital photography, and I am enjoying it alot.

I had chosen the G3 as my first camera, and all in all I am happy with the amount of money that I spent on it.

My mind has just starting to think about getting a digital SLR camera and I am wonder how many of you out there that are G3 owners will think about going to a SLR camera ?

and if so what model that is out on the market today would you buy?

thanks

Mark

I'm also thinking to update my G3 to digitalSLR someday. It's too expencive for me right now, but in 1-2 years i'll definately update.

If i've got enough money right now, i would buy Canon 10D.

I bought my G3 on March 3. Played around with it and liked it. But, having done film SLRs since high school, the G3 just didn't feel "natural" in my hands. The following Saturday I bought the EOS 10D. Now THAT is the camera for me. I use it all the time although I still use the G3 every once in a while when it's size and weight makes it more convenient. But not to fret, the G3 is still in good hands...that of my wife. :)

That's my plan too. Wait until there are more digital SLRs and some are in a better price range.
