2011 Project 52?

I was just wondering if anyone is working on a Project 52 this year, instead of the 365? I attempted the Project 365 last year, but failed in July. I figured I would make it easy on myself this year and try to do at least one a week.

Here's my first shot for this year's project and my second attempt at light painting:

I don't want to do one photo a day because I don't want to have to put photos I don't like or don't want associated with me as often. One a week is a good in between to keep me motivated but to give me time to produce something decent.

Nice image to start off with! Did you use a mobile phone screen or something for the light source?

I am doing a Project 52...just in self-portraits though. I'll be finishing up my 365 on February 10th and thought this "52 weeks of me" might be fun... only 50 weeks to go...

I used a red Photon Micro-light for this one. I have a few of these in different colors - red, blue, green, and white. But I only had the red one with me that night. I didn't put much consideration where I was shooting, since I am fairly new to this and was just messing around. However, I did like the face I made. lol

Yup, I've started one too. I tried to do a 365 last year but burnt out pretty quick. This year I'm really going to make an active effort to improve myself and my art.

Same here. I got burnt out pretty quickly last year. And not just from doing that project, but from photography completely. It took me about 5-6 months to get back in to it. Just in time to start this one. hehe

Just finished with week 3. Anyone else doing a weekly project and have some shots to post?

Finished with Week 5. I just picked up my Cactus v5 triggers and was trying them out. This is my first try at off camera flash. (Yeah, my putter is pretty beat up. Wouldn't make a good product photo would it? lol)
