I wonder if darkening just that part of the image might help. #3 is amusing and sweet -- looks like he as gotten hold of a cocktail glass. You might title it "Booze Hound." As for the 3rd pic, that is actually a shot glass...scary to think he was that small 6months ago and is now 65lbs! I gave it a try here and thought it really made the bottle stand out. That puppy is so cute, didn't realize he was so tiny in that image. Ace Rimmer -- "What a guy!"

Jan 10, 2011 17:00 | #8 I actually didn't crop any of these, they are straight from the camera with the usual sharpening, sat, contrast adjustments. With the impending forum closure, please consider joining the unofficial adjunct to the POTN forum, The POTN Forum Facebook Group

Darkening the background makes the bottle stand out more and de-emphasizes the background while retaining the complementary greens and tans. Ace Rimmer -- "What a guy!"

Jan 12, 2011 18:22 | #14 very nice Rimmer...for whatever reason I seem to have it stuck in my head that PP editing other than sharpness/contrast/saturation is like "cheating". I guess there are probably lots of "professional" photos that are edited in that way though.
