I sort of liked the "airiness" of including the extra headroom and all of the blue iris in the background, but yes... you're right that a tighter crop would help the composition and focus attention on the main attraction. Thanks.

yeah i like the shot as posted too....... i don't think the main attraction needs any help getting attention.....

guinness seems a very apt name for your cat his/her colouring looks just like a pint as it settles :)

So glad to read that... it's exactly the reason the name popped into my head the first time I saw her. She showed up on my deck about a year ago and quickly adopted me.
