Just wondering if anyone has used a SD to CF adapter in a DSLR with success?

yeah i have one i got from amazon or ebay not sure which. works just fine, a little slow and its the thicker compact flash card, so will not work in some readers. keeps up with my 40D in burst mode ok, not a speed demon but never slowed me down.

I'll echo Saxon's comments. I have one that I grabbed for around $24, and it's worked just fine in a Rebel XTi/400D and my current 40D. If speed isn't much of a concern for your shooting style, the adapters are a great option if you already have a lot of SD/SDHC cards.

Sounds good, I might try one, although I haven't seen one manufactured by a "name" brand company.

I thought about it, just so I could use an eye-fi card...

but after reading mostly poor reviews of the combo (speed/reliability) I decided against it
