This is my first shot with my 350D, well the first amongst the many taken the first time out with my camera.

I think it’s a Herring Gull in its first year, but not being a twitcher I am not totally sure. Newbrighton UK.

I have cropped the image from the original right and bottom.

I did get some worthy shots using the G3 but with the slow focusing I had all but given up trying to catch gulls in flight. I am looking forward to finding out what more I can do with the DSLR.
