Went out to play with my new flash and of course to practice my shooting techniques. Any CC is very welcomed. The harsher the better, that way i can learn from my wrongs and rights.

I like the light in 1,2, and 5. Good job with those. 3 and 4 are still in too harsh of light. 6 I would have focused on the ford emblem. Looks slightly off. The last one I would have liked to see an interesting angle rather than a front on shot

I really like #5. It makes the truck look like it's made for the intended purpose.

#s 1 & 2 are a good blend of flash & natural light. #5 has about one stop too much flash for me to look as natural as the first two.
Good series of shots.

I had my 580ex full power on this one. Should i have lowered it a bit or corrected it my camera?

Thanks

I love the look of this unit. We don't get many of them over here and the ones we do certainly don't look as good as yours does, some do sit high, but not on larger wheels and tyres that fit and look as good as yours do. That is one sweet truck.

Ditto! Great shot! Maybe get one from the front of the truck next time

Thank you all for your input, i can see what you mean by harsh light effects. Still have a lot to learn.

Plus it was cold as all can be out there!
