Ah....Yes, this owl is captive. My friend runs a rehabilitation center and cares for injured raptors. This guy is a resident that cannot go back to the wild although there is nothing wrong with him other than he was part of a project by a zoo and was one of four owls raised from the egg by humans. Unfortunately he has no fear of man.... Terry
